One of the most popular rabbit breeds, Holland Lops and Mini-Lops, are well known in the United States because they are cute and have long floppy ears. Their docile nature and cute size make them an ideal selection as pets.
Holland Lop is a breed of rabbit that was recognized by the ARBA in 1979. They are a small breed weighing between 4-6 pounds. They are muscular relative to their compact stature and have a wide variety of coat colors, and their lopped ears are one of their most distinctive features. The Mini-Lop looks very much like the Holland Lop but a bit larger in size.
Little Creek Farms had about 40 breeding Holland Lops, but the brutal heat wave, coupled with our lop barn air-conditioning losing power while we were out of town resulting in us losing every lop. This was certainly a devanstating setback. It is unclear at this time if we will rebuild our lop inventory, but right now, we can not fill any lop orders.
