You can’t talk about the Mini Rex rabbit without mentioning the glorious, plush fur of the breed. Touching this breed is an experience you won’t forget. Mini Rexes are a smaller breed. They usually weigh in around 4.5 pounds. The fur and small size are reasons why Mini Rexes are popular. They are a breed developed in 1984 in Florida by Monna Berryhill of Texas and gained recognition in 1988. Generally, the mini-rex has a sweet but adventurous personality and disposition.
We had a few mini-rexes for several years but didn’t include them into our breeding and marketing program. Later we decided to improve our mini-rex population and purchased some high quality breeding stock. Recently Little Creek Farms decided to partner with Gabby Howard of Blue Ribbon Mini-Rex Rabbits. We transferred all of our mini-rex rabbits to her rabbitry. She has an excellent facility and has a passion for her rabbits. Gabby has a good inventory of good quality mini-rex rabbits that make wonderful pets. Call Gabby Howard (903-975-2454) for more details and purchasing information.
The attached pictures are our breeding stock and are not for sale. But in the near future there should be some kits available.
